Tamil Nadu & Kerala, South India
A three-part journey through South India, crossing 1700 miles by bu from Tamil Nadu to and through Kerala. We visited during Shivaratri, Tibetan New Year, the beginning of Ramadan, and Ash Wednesday. We saw St. Thomas’s Tomb, Hindu temples with 1000 pillars, each unique, built in the 13th century, the first Jewish synagogue in India. This trip, as most trips are dedicated to spending time with people who live in entirely different worlds, all of whom share the same planet. Proceeds from these photographs go to the Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation.
