France
Grace rained down on us during this trip to southwestern France just as the world was opening back up from a pandemic. We’ve taken three yoga adventures to France over the years, and France is always about the “little joys:” On our knees in the garden trying to determine what kind of tiny flower is growing under a magnificent Linden tree, smelling new teas and flowers, listening to crows in the poplar forest, collecting chestnuts for autumn table settings.
In France, every smell, sound and taste are so utterly poignant. France teaches to care about every moment, the attention given to growing and packaging food, the way it is prepared, served and enjoyed. They make beauty out of life.
