Cambodia is a study in what happens to a culture when a dictator exterminates most of its population, leaving an orphan culture and few elders. In the 9th century this country was a thriving Hindu culture still evidenced in monolithic structures that are slowly being swallowed by a vociferous jungle. It was 117 degrees Fahrenheit during our stay.
